WELCOME We provide a safe, warm, welcome environment for individuals to feel valued, accepted and heard. This ‘safety net’ is a place where everyone can receive practical help and emotional support by experienced, non-judgmental and understanding staff.
The centre provides Information, Advice, counselling and Outreach work. (All information is held with the utmost confidentiality)
Facilities include beginners classes in computing, health help desk also we have a clothes resource and serve an inexpensive, hot nutritious meal in a relaxed Atmosphere.
St Cuthbert’s Centre is an “open - door” Drop in Centre . For everyone in Earl’s Court and the surrounding areas. The core of the centre is an informal sanctuary and safety net. The centre’s main role is health promotion and preventative work, and our aim is to improve the client’s quality of life. Individuals with varying degrees of mental health and or substance misuse issues, older people, vulnerable, isolated, rough sleepers, and homeless with chaotic lifestyles all have somewhere to come during the day. Staff at the Centre provide support, a listening ear and encourage clients to open up and discuss their problems. They are also pro-active in finding appropriate specialist help, as well as providing housing, health and education advice and information.
Our ‘approach’ is informal, non-judgmental and non-intrusive. |
